Juba's First BCH Grocery:Resilience Beyond Borders
Who Am I?Hello everyone! My name is Anas Ibrahim, known on social media as @Anaslbrahi67822. I have been a dedicated advocate for Bitcoin Cash (BCH) adoption since 2023. I was originally working on establishing a crypto-friendly grocery store in Sudan; however, due to the unfortunate outbreak of war, my project was halted and I was displaced to Juba, the capital of South Sudan. After spending over three years observing the local environment, I have decided to revive my vision here. I aim to build a grocery store that accepts digital currencies, but I currently face a significant funding gap. This campaign is my step toward making the "BCH for payments" dream a reality in JubaWhat is the goal of this project? The core objective is to integrate digital currencies into the fabric of daily life. I want to enable people to pay for their essential needs—from water and sugar to basic food supplies—using Bitcoin Cash. We aren't just building a temporary shop; we are creating a sustainable ecosystem. In a city like Juba, where the local currency struggles with inflation and carrying cash is a burden, BCH offers a faster, safer, and more reliable alternative for everyone. Why support me?By supporting this campaign, you are investing in full-time BCH adoption in Africa. A successful, crypto-integrated grocery store in Juba will serve as a powerful "proof of concept" for the entire Bitcoin Cash community. It proves that crypto can solve real-world problems in emerging markets. If this project does not reach its funding goal, Juba will miss a golden opportunity to host its first cryptocurrency-ready store, and the momentum for digital payments in Africa could slow down. My dream is to see Bitcoin Cash become a household name, helping the people of Juba thriveBudget Breakdown (Target: $10,000)Store Rent: $6,000 (12 months at $500/month). POS Infrastructure: $2,000 (Professional hardware and setup).Initial Inventory: $2,000 (Stocking essential goods and merchandise).Thank you for your time and support.
