BCH-1 Foundation takes no money from the protocol. It seeks no protocol consensus or authority and has no opinion on BCH consensus-related matters.
The Foundation does not prescribe which projects other people should or should not work on. Its ecosystem view records activity without treating inclusion as a judgment on a project’s direction.
Its standing comes from merit: results, usefulness, and whether people voluntarily choose to fund the work.
The core team is invitation-only. It is not a democracy. Joey is the public lead; other members’ identities are shielded to reduce fear of political blowback.
The small Core Fund supports Foundation operations and initiatives. Spending, coordination costs, and results are intended to be visible through the dashboard and reports.
FundMe continues to fund independent BCH projects. The Foundation brings comprehensive tracking together into a unified ecosystem view.
The Core Fund draws on Monero’s General Fund model: voluntary support, discretionary operational spending, and contracted coordination. BCH-1’s scope and leadership arrangements are its own.
